Yearly subscriptions

Every yearly subscription starts with a 15-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel at any point in the trial window from your subscriber dashboard and nothing will be billed.

The trial is your opportunity to decide whether Dorbel is right for you. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly plan is charged at the price shown at sign-up, and that charge is non-refundable. You can still cancel to stop the subscription from renewing the following year: the Service remains available until the end of the period you have paid for.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly plans do not include a trial, but they are backed by a 15-day refund window from the first paid charge. If you subscribe to a monthly plan and change your mind within 15 days, we will refund that payment in full.

After the refund window

Once the applicable trial or refund window has passed, charges are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and the subscription will not renew after the end of the current billing period. The Service remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Optional plaques and other physical goods

Perspex and aluminium plaques are physical products purchased separately from the subscription. Once a plaque has been dispatched it is non-refundable. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction: if an item arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from its description, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

How to request a refund

To request a refund within the eligible window:

  1. Send a message through the contact form on our About page, using the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include the email address or phone number on your account and, if possible, the approximate date of the charge.
  3. We will confirm receipt and process the refund as quickly as we can. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Payments on Dorbel are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Once we approve a refund, Paddle will credit the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund can take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

Chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first. In most cases we can sort out a refund faster than a chargeback. Raising a chargeback without first giving us a chance to help may result in the associated account being suspended pending resolution.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Updates apply to charges made after the date of the change; any refund rights in respect of a charge are governed by the policy in effect at the time of that charge.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.
